Despite Issues With Darshan Over Pavithra Gowda's Link, Wife Vijayalakshmi Finally Meets Hubby

After nine days of silence, Vijayalakshmi, wife of Kannada actor Darshan, visited him at the Annapoorneshwarni Nagar police station on Wednesday, marking the first family visit since his arrest in connection with the murder case of Renuka Swamy.

For the first time, a family member of the actor has visited him at the police station. However, his mother, Meena Thoogudeepa, and brother, Dinakar, have chosen to abstain from visiting and declined to comment on the matter.

Following Darshan's arrest on June 11, Vijayalakshmi faced online abuse prompting her to deactivate her social media accounts. She recently reactivated her accounts and sought the legal counsel of criminal lawyer Ravi B Nayak, indicating her resolve to support Darshan despite any personal upset over his alleged involvement with Pavithra Gowda.

Despite her apparent dismay over Darshan's alleged involvement with Pavithra Gowda, she has decided to support her husband.

According to the reports, Pavithra Gowda is in a relationship with Darshan. The actor's aides allegedly kidnapped and killed Renuka Swamy for sending her obscene messages on Instagram.

Kannada actress Pavithra Gowda had hit headlines in January this year after sharing photos of herself with Darshan, suggesting that they have been in a relationship for a decade.

On her Instagram page, she captioned the images, "One decade down; forever to go.♥️♥️ #10year It's been 10 years of our relationship. Thank you ✨✨ @darshanthoogudeepashrinivas @khushigowda_7 #forever #loveforever #hardtimestogether #10years."

Darshan's wife retaliated with the photos of Pavithra with another man named Sanjay Singh. The former questioned the "moral standing" of the latter.

"I hope this woman has to come into her senses before posting somebody else's husband picture,it talks about her character and moral standing, knowing that the man is marrried she still choose to come and stay for their own personal needs and agenda... These images clearly show kushi gowda is the daughter of Pavithra and sanjay Singh....I generally don't take social media to raise voice over personal issues but I feel now it's time to raise my voice in the best interest of my family.... Will take strict legal action against people who are trying to give a different image to the entire society. @ Sanjaysingh @ Khushigowda @shaanvisamsuri pavithra Gowda," Vijaya Lakshmi said in her post.

Pavithra Gowda is listed as accused number 1, with Darshan as accused number 2 in the murder case. It remains to be seen whether Vijayalakshmi's sympathy extends solely to her husband or also includes his friend, Pavithra Gowda.
