Ajith Kumar's much-awaited Tamil movie Vidaamuyarchi has opened to mixed reviews from the audience.

Directed by Magizh Thirumeni, the movie is a remake of Hollywood movie Breakdown. The story of the movie deals around Arjun (Ajith), a determined man on a mission to rescue his wife, played by Trisha Krishnan. She is kidnapped by a dangerous group in Azerbaijan.

Arjun Sarja, Regina Cassandra, Arav, and Ramya Subramanian are part of the cast.

A Middling Thriller with Moments of Engagement

While Vidaamuyarchi starts off with a gripping first half, it struggles to maintain momentum in the latter part of the film. Magizh Thirumeni's adaptation of the original screenplay lacks the necessary firepower, with unnecessary elements disrupting the narrative flow.
