Meanwhile, the Telugu-dubbed version of the film, Pattudala, experienced a rather modest response at the box office, securing an overall occupancy rate of 12.26% on Friday.
Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi's Telugu Thandel has hit the screens today and this is expected to impact the collection in Andhra and Telangana.

The box office earnings for Vidaamuyarchi on its opening day were remarkable, with the film amassing Rs 22 crore (net) domestically. Tamil Nadu alone contributed the entirety of this figure. Chennai recorded a stellar 89% occupancy for its 1,150 shows, reflecting Ajith Kumar's massive popularity in his home territory.
Bengaluru, despite its lower turnout on Day 2, had a relatively better first day with a 31.25% occupancy across 1,022 shows. Madurai, another major contributor, saw 66.25% occupancy across its 231 shows.
With Vidaamuyarchi maintaining steady numbers on Day 2, industry experts predict a strong weekend ahead. The next few days are crucial for the Ajith and Trisha Krishnan-starrer as the movies of A-list stars do 70-80 per cent in the first week.
