'Vettaiyan' Advance Booking: Rajini's Film Earns Rs 6.45 Crore In Tamil Nadu, Rs 2.13 In Karnataka
The advance booking for Rajinikanth's much-anticipated film 'Vettaiyan' has garnered a phenomenal response across multiple regions.
The film's Tamil version alone has grossed ₹9.65 crore, while the Telugu version has collected ₹66 lakh, Sacnik notes. The Hindi version, however, has made less than Rs 1 lakh. Together, the advance booking across all languages has surpassed Rs 10 crore.

In Tamil Nadu, 'Vettaiyan' has brought in Rs 6.45 crore from advance ticket sales, with Karnataka contributing Rs 2.13 crore and Kerala adding Rs 78.53 lakh. In Andhra Pradesh, the film earned Rs 31.44 lakh, while Telangana raked in Rs 52.47 lakh. Across all regions, the total collection from advance bookings, including blocked tickets, stands at over Rs 16 crore.
So far, 481,039 tickets have been sold for the Tamil version, and 44,620 tickets for the Telugu version, bringing the total to 526,085 tickets sold ahead of the film's release.
Among the overseas centres, the film is expected to get good openings in the US, UK and Australia.
'Vettaiyan' is set to hit theaters on Thursday in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam versions. The action-drama is directed by TJ Gnanavel and produced by Subaskaran under Lyca Productions.
Apart from Rajinikanth, Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, Ritika Singh, Dushara Vijayan, Rohini, Rao Ramesh, Abhirami, and Ramesh Thilak in the cast. It has to be noted that Bachchan makes his Tamil debut with this flick.
