Under Fire For Revealing Outfits, Tamannaah Removes Controversial Radha-Krishna Photoshoot

After facing criticism over her recent Radha-Krishna-themed photoshoot for a well-known fashion label, actress Tamannaah Bhatia has removed the photos from her social media sites.

The images, part of designer Karan Torani's campaign titled 'Leela: The Divine Illusion Of Love' depicted various stages of love between Lord Krishna and Radha.

While the photos initially captivated fans, a section of social media quickly erupted in outrage, accusing Tamannaah and the fashion label of "sexualizing" the sacred relationship between Radha and Krishna.

Netizens launched an online campaign condemning the actress and the designer, expressing their anger with strong words. One post read, "Stop sexualising the purest relationship of our beloved Radha Rani and Shree Krishna for your sales! You morons! How dare you @tamannaahspeaks & @toraniofficial."

Tamannaah, in her initial post, shared her thoughts on the experience, writing, "There were times when I felt a transcendent connection while embodying Radha, and a divine force seemed to be behind it all. This divinity is evident in the campaign's visuals, thanks to the person behind it all @karantorani. He is truly a creative genius and one of the most talented young designers I've had the privilege to work with."

However, as the backlash grew and the online campaign gained traction, both Tamannaah and the fashion label Torani removed the controversial photos and videos from their social media platforms. The label has since restricted comments on their Instagram posts to prevent further negative responses.

On the professional front, Tamannaah recently made a special appearance in the blockbuster film 'Stree 2' where her dance performance in the song 'Aaj Ki Raat' became a sensation online. She was also featured in John Abraham's Independence Day release, "Vedaa," which unfortunately did not perform well at the box office.
