The much-anticipated movie UI, starring Kannada superstar Upendra, is proving to be a crowd-puller across multiple regions. On its second day, the film exhibited a marginal dip in collections compared to its opening day, signalling sustained interest among moviegoers.

In the Kannada version, UI maintained a strong overall occupancy of 62.27% on Saturday, December 21, 2024. This impressive performance was driven by excellent turnouts during evening and night shows, which saw occupancy rates of 73.52% and 84.24%, respectively, as per Sacnik.

Hubballi: The standout region, registering the highest overall occupancy at 76%.

Shivamogga: A phenomenal 72.50% overall occupancy, with afternoon shows achieving a 96%.

Other cities like Raichur, and Kundapura also showcased strong figures, though some regions, like Mangaluru (22.75%) and Belagavi (28.25%), saw relatively modest performances.

The Real Star has directed written the story and screenplay for the film which is produced by G. Manoharan and Sreekanth KP. Reeshma Nanaiah is playing the female lead in the movie which also has Nidhi Subbaiah playing an important role.
