The development surprised many, as Anushka had previously been linked to Chaitanya's father, Nagarjuna. These rumors eventually died down, and Naga Chaitanya went on to marry Samantha.

Fast forward to 2024, similar rumors have resurfaced, but this time the actress in question is different. The latest speculation claims that Naga Chaitanya is getting engaged to Sobhita Dhulipala. According to a report in Times Now, the engagement is set to happen today.

The rumors were first reported by a Telugu website, and it is said that elders from both families will formally confirm the news in Hyderabad today. Despite this, Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita have remained silent about their relationship.

Nonetheless, there are high chances of these reports turning "baseless rumours" as the Akkinenis are not known for making such occasions to low-key events.

After his divorce from Samantha, Naga Chaitanya was linked to Sobhita Dhulipala, with photos of them together adding credibility to the rumors. For those unfamiliar, Sobhita gained fame through the web series 'Made in Heaven' and made her entry into Tollywood with 'Major'.

She had also appeared in a key role in the series 'The Night Manager'.
