Sorry Jetha Lal! Taarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chashma's Munmun Dutta AKA Babita Ji Is Now Engaged With Tappu

According to the rumors and speculations doing round the internet, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma (TMKOC) fame Munmun Dutta aka Babita ji got engaged with co-artist Raj Anadkat, who plays the role of Jetha Lal's son Tappu. The social media rumors suggest that both TMKOC actors recently got engaged in a private ceremony in Gujurat's Vadodara.

"The engagement took place just a few days back. The two exchanged rings in Vadodara (Gujarat). Munmun and Raj's families have accepted their relationship and they were also present at the ceremony," News 18 India quoted a source.

The source added, "They have been dating ever since Raj joined Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. It was very evident. Everyone on the sets knew about it. In fact, some people were certain that Munmun and Raj would get married eventually. Therefore, it is not shocking that they are engaged now".

Soon after the unconfirmed news broke out, Munmun Dutta and Tarak Megra Ka Oolta Chashma started trending at the top on Twitter and Google. Notably, there is no official confirmation from the actors yet. Many TMKOC fans were surprised by the news of Munmun Dutta and Raj Anadkat's engagement as the duo have a big age difference, however, love doesn't care about any differences.

Earlier, when the news of Munmun Dutta and Raj Anadkat dating went viral, Munmun Dutta had junked the speculations terming them as 'cooked up stories'.

Taking it to Twitter, Munmun Dutta said, "To everyone, who has been constantly writing about me, THINK of the repercussions that can happen in my life because of your 'COOKED UP' (false) stories, and that too about my life without my consent. All the creative people out there please channelise your creativity somewhere else it will be helpful to you. May God bless them with good sense."
