Tamil Film 'Rebel' Review: What's Good, What's Bad; Find Out From Viewers' Words

GV Prakash Kumar's latest movie 'Rebel' will hit the screens on Friday. It is a political thriller directed by Nikesh RS.

The movie has Mamitha Baiju in the female lead. Venkitesh.vp, Shalu Rahim, Karunas, Adhithya Baskar, Kalloori Vinoth and Subramaniya Siva are part of the supporting cast.

GV Prakash Kumar himself has composed the music, Vetre Krishnan is the editor and Arun Radhakrishnan is the cinematographer.

The movie is set in a fictional college located in Kerala, revolving around a Tamil student who faces bullying and oppression from a local political group. The movie delicately navigates the theme of harassment faced by Tamils in Kerala.

GV Prakash portrays the protagonist, who confronts challenges posed by the local political party due to his romantic involvement and presence in the college. True to its title, the film depicts the hero's rebellion against his oppressors in their own domain.
