Tamannaah On Self-Love: ‘I Touch Every Part Of My Body, Thank It For Withstanding The Day’

Actress Tamannaah Bhatia recently shared insights into her self-care routine, emphasizing the importance of self-love and body appreciation.

Tamannaah's Self Love

In a conversation with YouTuber Masoom Minawala, she revealed a personal ritual she practices after long workdays. "I do love my body. After a long day at work, I take a shower and thank every part of my body. It might sound a bit crazy, but why not? I know how much it takes every day, and I touch every part of my body, thanking it for withstanding the day and being there for me," she expressed.

Tamannaah has consistently advocated for body positivity. Reflecting on her past struggles with body image, she admitted that, as a child, she equated being thin with beauty. The industry's beauty standards further reinforced this belief.

"There was a time when I thought being thin made me beautiful, but I later realised it didn't truly make me feel good about myself," she reportedly stated. She added, "The times I actually started feeling beautiful had little to do with how thin I was. It took me a long time to understand that."

Tamannaah's Project & Personal Life

On the professional front, Tamannaah was recently seen in 'Sikandar Ka Muqaddar,' starring alongside Avinash Tiwary. The film also featured Jimmy Shergill as an investigating officer.

Looking ahead, she is set to appear in 'Odela 2,' directed by Ashok Teja and produced by D. Madhu, with Sampath Nandi as the creator. In March 2024, she unveiled a poster from the film, hinting at an intense storyline where she portrays a devoted Shiva worshipper.

On the personal front, she is in a relationship with actor Vijay Varma. They are likely to tie the knot, this year. She is quoted as saying in an interview: "I am very happy in life right now. Shaadi bhi ho sakti hai, kyun nahin?"
