Take Kamal Haasan Seriously Only For Cinema, Personal Life: RJ Suchi Roasts Actor Over Kannada-Tamil Remark

RJ Suchitra, who is known for making bold claims, has slammed Tamil actor Kamal Haasan, accusing him of "spouting" incorrect history in Bigg Boss Tamil. Her comments came in the wake of the controversy around his comments that "Kannada was born out of Tamil".

RJ Suchi's Criticism

In a post on Instagram, the singer said that people should not take Kamal Haasan seriously other than cinema and personal life.

Kamal Haasan Spouting Incorrect History In Every Bigg Boss Episode RJ Suchi Roasts Thug Life Actor Over Kannada-Tamil Remark

She wrote, "Not necessary. He's been spouting incorrect history in every episode of Bigg Boss that he has hosted, and we didn't even bother. We didn't take him seriously on topics other than cinema or his personal life. We all know a child that loves the stage so much, it can't stop talking. It's okay with us."

Kamal Haasan had hosted seven seasons of Bigg Boss Tamil before being replaced by Vijay Sethupathi.

She said that Kamal Haasan is wrong and the evidence and testimonies against his statement are staggering. She then highlighted that the issue that he has raised is of less importance to the people.

In a post, he wrote, "It is easy to prove him wrong, coz he is wrong. The evidence and testimonies against his statement are staggering. So hey yes - the whole country has heard the truth, so all clarified!! But the thing is - It is not a sleeping monster he has awakened. Honestly who even cares which language came from which one? Adhuvaa ippo daily life la nammala affect panra issue? If anyone told us Tamil came from Kannada, we'd say - okay, now send us water so we can say our water came from Kannada too!"

Kamal Haasan's Controversial Comments

The controversy stems from Kamal Haasan's comments at the Thug Life audio launch in Chennai, where he referred to Kannada actor Shivaraj Kumar as 'family' and said: "Your language (Kannada) was born from Tamil. So you're part of that family."

However, this did not go well with the pro-Kannada groups which have now threatened to ban the movie in the state if the actor does not issue an apology.
