'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah' Actor Gurucharan Singh AKA Sodhi Goes Missing; Police Complaint Lodged
Actor Gurucharan Singh of TV serial 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah' fame has reportedly gone missing, sources in the Delhi Police have said. The 50-year-old actor's father has filed a missing complaint with the police, they said. According to them, Gurucharan Singh had left home at 8:30 am on April 22 for the airport to go to Mumbai.
But he did not reach Mumbai and his phone was also unreachable, the complaint stated. Police sources said they have formed different teams and an investigation into the matter has been initiated. "We are scanning CCTV footage to know what exactly has happened," a source said.

Gurucharan Singh as Sodhi in TMKOC:
In the multicultural show, the actor represented the Sikh community, its culture, and teachings showcasing the lifestyle and heritage. He was liked by millions of viewers as he was known for protecting society and being friendly with everyone.
Sodhi had left the show following his father's ill health but the makers decided to bring him back as his departure from the show left a void.
He was earlier replaced by actor Balwinder Singh Suri.
Throughout the shows, Sodhi's character has been fun-loving and affectionate Sodhi left an indelible mark, making him a founding and cherished member of the cast.
