Singer Shubh Under Fire For Flashing Hoodie Mocking Indira Gandhi's Killers At London Concert
Punjabi-Canadian rapper Shubhneet Singh, known as Shubh, has found himself in the spotlight once again due to allegations that he wore a hoodie with a controversial design referencing the assassination of former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi by her bodyguards. This historic event had far-reaching consequences both in India and globally, as it involved the tragic shooting of the Prime Minister by two Sikh bodyguards, leading to her untimely death.
During a concert, Shubh was reportedly seen wearing a black hoodie featuring a map of Punjab and an image in the foreground depicting Sikh men and the Indira Gandhi's killers.

This image has sparked controversy, and a photo and video from the London concert have gone viral. These videos were shared on social media by a pro-Khalistani account named SherePanjabUK, along with the caption, "Panjabi Artist Shubh holding a hoodie with an illustration showing the Indian PM Indira Gandhi (aka Maimuna Begum) being met by Shaheed Bhai Satwant Singh and Shaheed Bhai Beant Singh #NeverForget84."
The video is said to be from Shubh's Sunday night concert held in London.
In response to the viral video, Shubh faced severe criticism. However, reports suggest that the controversial hoodie he wore displayed only a map of Punjab and not a caricature related to Indira Gandhi's assassination.
Shortly after the video gained widespread attention, Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut expressed her condemnation, denouncing the act as a "cowardly killing of an old woman." She criticized Shubh and urged him to feel ashamed for glorifying an attack on an elderly lady who was disarmed and unaware of the impending tragedy.
