Simple Kaul Divorce: TV Actress Files for Separation from Husband Rahul Loomba After 15 Years

Television actress Simple Kaul, best known for her roles in Shararat and Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, has filed for divorce from her husband Rahul Loomba after 15 years of marriage.

Confirming the development, Simple said that the decision was mutual and taken with maturity. "It's very recent. It is mutual and we are very mature humans. We're more than family. It just doesn't go in my head that it is done because so many years of my life I've known this person," she shared.

The actress also emphasised that despite the separation, she continues to live with love and positivity. "I live with love, and I walk through my life with a lot of love, a lot of happiness, and a lot of spiritual awareness. This is how I live," she added.

Simple and Rahul tied the knot in 2010. Their relationship was often described by the actress as a "long-distance marriage," since Rahul spent a significant amount of time abroad. While she admitted to missing him, she always highlighted their deep understanding and strong bond.

On the professional front, Simple Kaul was last seen in the 2022 show Ziddi Dil Maane Na. She continues to be remembered for her performance as Pam in Shararat, a fantasy sitcom that aired between 2003 and 2006. The show, inspired by Sabrina the Teenage Witch, remains a cult favourite for its humour and quirky characters.
