SIIMA Awards 2025 Winners List For Kannada Films: Meet The Winners & Check Pictures

The 2025 South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) in Dubai celebrated the vibrant Kannada film industry, recognizing both fresh and established talent. The evening was a special one for several rising stars who made their mark in the industry.

Real Star Upendra with his wife Priyanka Trivedi remained the prime attraction of the event. He won the Best Director Award for his UI. Kiccha Sudeep won the Best Actor Award for Max and it was received by lyricis Nagendra Prasad.

At the same time, Duniya Vijay bagged Best Actor Male - Critics (Kannada) Award for his incredible performance in Bheema.

Sandeep Sunkad was honored with the Best Debutant Director award for his work on Shakhakaari, while Ankita Amar was named Best Debutant Actor (Female). The Best Debutant Actor award went to Samarjit Lankesh, and the Promising Newcomer title was given to Sanya Iyer for her role in Gowri.

The world of Kannada music was also celebrated, with B. Ajaneesh Loknath winning Best Music Director for his score in MAX. V. Nagendra Prasad won Best Lyric Writer, while Aishwarya Rangarajan and Jaskaran took home the awards for Best Playback Singer (Female) and Best Playback Singer (Male), respectively.

Other notable winners from the Kannada industry included Jack Singham for Best Actor in a Comedy Role in Bheema and Srivathsan Selvarajan for Best Cinematographer for Ibbani Tabbida Illeyali. Imran S. Sardhariya was also recognized for Song Design of the Year.

It is interesting to note that Kodagu girl Rashmika Mandanna won Best Actress Award for Pushpa 2 for Telugu movies. The evening was graced by many notable names including Kamal Haasan, Khushboo, Suhasini, Shriya Saran, Rockline Venkatesh, Pranitha, Bhagyashri Borse, Ashika Ranganath among others.
