Shooting Outside Disha Patani House In UP: Goldy Brar Gang Claims Responsibility

In a chilling early morning incident in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, gunshots rang out outside Bollywood actress Disha Patani's Civil Lines residence, sparking fear and concern among locals. Authorities reported that the attack is allegedly linked to remarks Patani made concerning revered Hindu saints Premanand Maharaj and Aniruddhacharya Maharaj.

The Goldy Brar gang has taken responsibility through a striking social media post, directly naming Virendra Charan and Mahendra Saran (Delana) as the perpetrators. The post, written in Hindi, also contained a stark warning to the broader film industry, emphasizing that disrespect toward their religion would not be tolerated.

Officials said the attack involved multiple rounds, including two aerial shots fired around 4:30 am. Miraculously, no one was injured in the incident.

The message claimed responsibility and read in part:

"Jai Shri Ram. Ram Ram to all brothers. I, Virendra Charan, Mahendra Saran, carried out the firing at Khushboo Patani/Disha Patani's house (Villa No. 40, Civil Lines, Bareilly). She insulted our revered saints and tried to demean our Sanatan Dharma. This was just a trailer. Next time, anyone who disrespects our religion, no one in their house will be left alive. This is a warning not just to her but to the entire film industry. We will never back down; our religion and society are our first duty."

The Uttar Pradesh police have launched a comprehensive investigation, confirming that search operations are ongoing to track down those responsible. The authorities are also verifying the authenticity of the viral social media post.

Disha Patani's younger sister, Khushboo Patani, has spoken briefly about the incident, highlighting the distress caused by the attack.

With the investigation underway, the city remains on high alert as law enforcement agencies work to ensure safety and prevent any escalation of the situation.
