Shefali Jariwala Dies At 42: What Is The Cause Of Her Untimely Death?
Actress and model Shefali Jariwala, known for her iconic appearance in the music video 'Kaanta Laga', passed away on Friday night. She was aged 42 and breathed her last as she was rushed to a private hospital in Mumbai.
The Bigg Boss 13 contestant was rushed to Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital in Mumbai by her husband, Parag Tyagi and three others on Friday, where she was declared dead upon arrival, according to a report in The Times of India.

A hospital staff member told the English publication India that Shefali had already died before reaching the hospital. Her husband and a few others accompanied her body. However, the Resident Medical Officer refused to spill more beans on her passing away and asked to reach out to Dr Vijay Lulla, a cardiologist. However, the doctor admitted that she had died but did not reveal more details about the patient.
Her body was sent to Cooper Hospital in Andheri for autopsy, the report adds.
Many reports have claimed that she suffered cardiac arrest, leading to her untimely death. However, the authorities to reveal the cause of death, saying it is yet to be ascertained.
The Mumbai Police says that the cause is still unclear. "Mumbai Police received information about this at 1 am. Her body has been sent to Cooper Hospital for postmortem. The cause of death is not yet clear," ANI quoted the police as saying.
However, her husband and family members are yet to release a statement on her demise.

The sudden demise of Shefali has left both the entertainment industry and her fans heartbroken. Mika Singh expressed his sorrow on social media, stating, "I'm deeply shocked, saddened, and feeling a heavy heart... Our beloved star and my dearest friend Shefali Jariwala has left us. Still can't believe it. You will always be remembered for your grace, smile, and spirit. Om Shanti."
Mika Singh also shared memories of their collaboration on Instagram, highlighting how they finally worked together on a song in 2020 after knowing each other for over 25 years. He reflected on their time promoting it on The Kapil Sharma Show and expressed regret over not making more memories with her.
Actress Kamya Punjabi shared her grief on Instagram stories saying she couldn't believe the news and felt heartbroken. Tehseen Poonawalla expressed his shock on X (formerly Twitter), recalling their last meeting at a party and noting how life is unpredictable.
Paras Chhabra also paid tribute by sharing a picture with Shefali on Instagram stories with a caption reflecting on life's uncertainty: "Kiski zindagi kitni likhi hai koi nahi jaanta (No one knows how long they have)." The entertainment world mourns the loss of such a vibrant personality.
