'Shameless! You're Supporting A Killer': Netizens Slam Rakshitha For Supporting Pavithra Gowda In Old Video

Netizens have come down heavily on actress Rakshith Prem after an old video of her wishing Pavithra Gowda, arrested in Renuka Swamy murder case, went viral.

What is the video all about?

It is an old video where Rakshitha is seen sending her wishes to Pavithra Gowda after opening her boutique in RR Nagar in 2022. "Pavi is my family friend, I have known her for years. It is a big achievement for any woman who aspires to be independent as starting a business is no small feat. I wish her all the best," the 'Kalasipalya' actress says in the clip.

She then praised the collection at Pavithra Gowda's boutique."The collection is good in Red Carpet." On asking what she liked the most, "I liked a lot of things...and asked Pavi to design my costume for 'Comedy Khiladigalu' finale."

This video has been shared on Pavithra Gowda's Instagram page as well. Although the clip has been in the account for two years, it has gone viral only now as the netizens target Rakshitha for supporting Pavithra.

Why Criticism?

People also criticised her for extending support despite knowing that Darshan is still married to Vijayalakshmi.

Pavithra Gowda is said to be a friend of Darshan but the former had hinted in January about being in a relationship with him which created a major controversy.

"@rakshitha__official pls obru samsara hal madovr jothe dayvittu serbedi (don't join hands with homewreckers)," one user urged Rakshitha.

"Let your husband get a woman like Pavithra," another netizen added. The third user commented, "Shameless wishing all the the best to killer."

Another user said, "How come she is your family friend? She is Darshan's girlfriend, and now you're calling her a family friend? That sounds so fake. Go and meet your "family friend" murderer in jail."

"Support those who work hard not housewreckers," a netizen added.

Pavithra Gowda, actor Darshan and 15 others have been arrested in connection with the murder case of Renuka Swamy.

Allegedly, Darshan's aides kidnapped Renuka Swamy on June 8 from Chitradurga and took him to Bengaluru. He was brutally assaulted at a shed in Kamashi Palya, leading to his death.

Pavitha Gowda is accused number one in this murder case.
