'Shame On You': Netizens Slams Hottie Keerthy Suresh After Sharing Pics From Maldives Trip

Actress Keerthy Suresh has come under attack from a section of netizens after sharing her pictures from her recent Maldives trip.

She shared the pictures with a caption: "Mentally in #Maldives Physically here (Scroll till the end to see) 🤓#MaldivesDiaries." She was accompanied by her husband Antony Thattil. The couple tied the knot in December after being in a relationship for 15 years.

While the post got over eight lakh likes by the time this story went for publishing, a section of netizens criticised her for going to the Maldives.

For the unversed, the ties between the two countries strained after Maldives President Mohamed Muizzu came to power with his 'India Out' campaign. However, the relationship has improved in the last six months with the Muizzu visiting India.

Criticising the actress over her visit to the Maldives, one user said, "Shame on you, still supporting Maldives tourism ? U lost my respect."

The second user commented, "Maldives hate India ❌ ,but Indian celebrities love Maldives." The third user commented, "Are you promoting Maldives? You are anti national activity.. you lost my respect."

A netizen claimed, "It's disappointing to see celebs promoting the Maldives - a nation that insulted India and our PM. Is a free trip worth more than national pride?"

The fifth user said, "Indians' are b0yc0tting to travel Maldives but Celebs likes you all still dream of there and fund. That's why Everybody says never trust celebs like bollywood. You Guys Joined too. Nice Applaud." Another added, "Maldives ran india out campaigns and their minister disrespected Indians.. But you celebs will promote them for money."

On the work front, Keerthy Suresh will be seen in women-centric comedy Tamil movie Revolver Rita and a thriller movie Kannivedi, directed by debutant Ganesh Raj.
