Vijay Antony's new movie Shakthi Thirumagan (Bhadrakaali in Telugu) is an action thriller, directed by Arun Babu.

Kannan, Krish Hassan, Vagai Chandrasekhar, Cell Murugan, Trupthi Ravindra, Kiran, Rini Bot, Riya Jithu, Shoba Viswanath, Master Keshav, Prashanth Parthiban and others in the cast. The film is scored and produced by Antony himself under his Vijay Antony Film Corporation banner.

Story

Kittu (Vijay Antony) is the ultimate fixer in the Secretariat, a man who can make or break careers. From elevating a beggar to riches to demoting a police officer, he is the go-to for high-ranking officials-and he always collects his price. But his world shatters when he crosses paths with Abhyankar Shankar (Sunil Kriplani), a political strategist with his eyes on the presidency. A shocking Rs. 6,236 crore scam linked to Kittu becomes national news. Is he a corrupt mastermind or a man with a hidden agenda? The film reveals the truth behind his rise, fall, and the surprising reasons he became an adversary to the very people who trusted him.

#ShakthiThirumagan (3.25/5) - Pretty good political drama. Has a solid first half that sets up the stage very well and follows it up with a fine second half. Really liked how director Arun Prabu dealt with the political scenario and brings up incidents close to real life.

@vijayantony is superb, it's a very interesting pick by him for his 25th film and he does justice to it. The film benefits from his presence and it's also nice to see Cell Murugan on screen after a long time. The other members of the cast could have been picked better.

Director Arun Prabu increases the tension in the first half of the film, and follows a tried and tested mass route in the second half which feels overstuffed at times. On the whole, it is a good watch for those who have interest in politics and would love to see something different on screen!
