Shahid, Kareena Kapoor Spotted At Kids' School Event, Years After Their Split

Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor were seen together after several years, although not in the way fans might have hoped.

The actors were captured in the same frame, seated in consecutive rows during an event at their children's school, Dhirubhai International School, in Mumbai.

A paparazzo account on Instagram shared photos of Kareena seated diagonally in the row ahead of Shahid during the event. Shahid wore a white T-shirt layered with a blue denim shirt, while Kareena opted for a rust-coloured top.

They were not seen acknowledging one another in either the photos or videos. However, they both smiled, albeit not at each other, but while watching their children's performance on stage.

In one video circulating online, Kareena is shown cheering for her elder son, Taimur Ali Khan, as he performed on stage. She also recorded the moment on her smartphone, sitting alongside filmmaker and close friend Karan Johar. Interestingly, their children - Kareena and Saif Ali Khan's sons, Taimur and Jeh, and Karan Johar's twins, Yash and Roohi - are classmates.

Shahid's daughter, Misha Kapoor, also attends the same school. In the video, Shahid appeared less engaged during Taimur's performance.

The event at Dhirubhai International School was also attended by Shah Rukh Khan, Gauri Khan, and their daughter Suhana Khan, who came to support Shah Rukh's younger son, AbRam Khan.

He performed on stage alongside Aaradhya Bachchan, daughter of Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan. Both Aishwarya and Abhishek were present, along with Amitabh Bachchan. Genelia D'Souza and her husband, Riteish Deshmukh, were also spotted at the event.

Besides, Malayalam superstar Prithviraj was also spotted sitting behind Shahid in the video shared online.

Shahid and Kareena's love story

Shahid and Kareena were in a relationship during the 2000s but parted ways in 2007. Kareena later began dating Saif Ali Khan, whom she married in 2012, while Shahid married Mira Rajput in 2015. Despite their past, Shahid and Kareena have shared screen space in several films, including 'Fida' and the iconic 'Jab We Met'.

Kareena was last seen in 'Singham Again', while Shahid is set to appear in 'Deva' and a project directed by Vishal Bhardwaj.
