Shah Rukh Khan is not only considered the most handsome man in the world by his fans but also boasts the "perfect face" according to a scientific study.

The method for determining 'facial perfection' was conducted by London-based cosmetic surgeon Dr. Julian De Silva, who used physical face-mapping software and established the "Greek Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi."

This ratio is used to measure physical perfection by revealing the symmetry and precision of a person's facial features, reported India Today.

What is Golden Ratio?

The Golden Ratio is a mathematical concept first introduced by the Greeks in their quest to quantify beauty.

This ratio can be applied to various forms and was famously used by Leonardo da Vinci in his artwork *The Vitruvian Man*, which depicted the ideal male proportions.

The idea behind the Golden Ratio is that the closer the proportions of a face or body are to 1.618 (Phi), the more aesthetically pleasing they appear.

Dr. De Silva, who released a list of the ten most handsome men in the world, developed computerised facial mapping techniques for these measurements. The concept is based on how features like a person's eyes, eyebrows, chin, lips, nose, jaw, and facial shape align with the ancient Greek idea of perfection.

Dr. De Silva, who runs the Centre for Advanced Facial Cosmetic and Plastic Surgery in London, said: "These brand new computer mapping techniques allow us to solve some of the mysteries of what it is that makes someone physically beautiful, and the technology is useful when planning patients' surgery."

In his latest list, Dr. De Silva named actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson as the most handsome man in the world, with Shah Rukh Khan ranking tenth. Other actors on the list include George Clooney, *Emily in Paris* star Lucien Laviscount, Paul Mescal, and Robert Pattinson.

Why Is SRK considered Handsome?

For Shah Rukh Khan, Dr. De Silva explained that while the actor is "ageing wonderfully and he scored very highly for his lips and wonderfully square chin," he lost points due to the shape of his nose.

Aaron Taylor-Johnson, who is expected to take on the role of James Bond, achieved a ratio of 93.04%, while Shah Rukh Khan's facial perfection ratio was 86.76%.
