Samantha’s 'Citadel: Honey Bunny' To Rana Daggubati’s 'The Rana Connection': Shows To Watch On Prime Video
Local is universal, was the underlying theme as Prime Video unveiled its stellar slate of nearly 70 titles at a star-studded event.
Actor Priyanka Chopra Jonas was greeted with cheers of "We miss you", as she announced her latest production 'WOMB: Women of My Billion'. The heart-rending story of women and their fight against violence, the film hopes to send out a strong message celebrating sisterhood.

Dressed in a blue tie and dyed suit, Priyanka said, "My focus as producer is to give filmmakers a springboard to tell stories they are passionate about." After Priyanka Chopra's turn as the badass spy caught in a dystopian reality opposite Richard Madden in Joe and Anthony Russo's thriller 'Citadel', the show gets a gritty desi twist under Raj and DK with actors Varun Dhawan and Samantha Prabhu in 'Citadel: Honey Bunny'.
Varun Dhawan who makes his digital debut with the show, revealed that after watching 'The Family Man', he had called Raj and DK expressing his wish to work with them.
Samantha Prabhu who collaborates with the director duo after 'The Family Man 2', said she nearly didn't do 'Citadel'. "I could never have imagined I could do action. Till the last minute I didn't know if I could do this, and everyone helped me in prepping for this, all I had to do was turn up for the shoot", she said.
It seems show host Karan Johar has competition when it comes to making his celebrity guests spill the beans. Actor and producer Rana Daggubatti turns show host with his latest Telugu talk show, 'The Rana Connection'. Describing the show as an exciting and curiosity-piquing show, it features many of his friends and contemporaries from Indian cinema.

Rana tried his hosting skills on Karan Johar as he quizzed him on who he prefers between Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra. To which the filmmaker answered, Alia.
Karan further revealed that Ranveer Singh was the only one who could compete with him when it came to fashion, and when Rana asked him what was the one thing to never do at a Karan Johar party, the response was "Never take a video".
Naga Chaitanya who made his digital debut with the psychological thriller, 'Dhootha', is back with Season 2.

"The character saga itself was written in so many layers, the good and the bad and so much in between. So as an actor, it was quite a challenging experience and a challenging part", said Naga Chaitanya.
Suriya's much-awaited epic drama "Kanguva" after its theatrical release will be digitally released on Prime. Charting the journey of one man across 500 years from the 1700s to 2023, the movie also stars Bobby Deol.

"To dive into the unknown is always exciting, and every time the responsibility is to give something bigger and bigger. After 25 plus years in the industry, and to still get excited for a film is so important", said Suriya.
Bobby Deol who has seen a resurgence in his career post 'Animal', said he was grateful for the love coming his way. "To work with Suriya was always a dream, he's an awesome amazing actor. I witnessed it with my own eyes", said Bobby.
Suriya's younger brother Karthi's 'Vaa Vaathiyaar' is another licensed title which will be showcased on the platform. A quirky tale of a fanatic fan of legendary actor MGR who raises his grandson like the reincarnation of MGR.

"Our film is a tribute to the Indian masala film, but it's a different take to it in the way it's presented. The alter ego concept is very tough to pull off, but you will
enjoy it."
From Vijay Devarkonda's 'Family Star', and Ramcharan's' 'Game Changer' to Pawan Kalyan's 'Ustaad Bhagat Singh', are the other films which will be screened.
