The shocking attack on actor Saif Ali Khan by an intruder at his 11th-floor Bandra flat on 16 January left the film industry in disbelief.

After spending five days at Lilavati Hospital, where he underwent surgery, the actor was discharged and later greeted his fans upon returning home.

On Sunday, January 26, Saif was seen stepping out of his residence for the first time, accompanied by heavy security. Kareena Kapoor was also seen with him.

Saif Steps Out with Kareena

In a video shared by a paparazzi account on Instagram, Saif was seen leaving his Bandra residence. Kareena, dressed in a grey sweatshirt and cap, walked ahead of him and entered their car.

Saif, wearing jeans and a blue shirt, was surrounded by security personnel as he followed her.

The couple then departed in their vehicle, followed closely by a second car exiting their residence gates.

Saif was discharged on Tuesday afternoon, following a five-day stay at Lilavati Hospital.

Doctors revealed that he had been leaking spinal fluid upon arrival and underwent a five-hour surgery during which a piece of the knife was removed from his body.

After the procedure, he was shifted to the ICU.

The attack occurred during the early hours of Thursday when an intruder reportedly confronted the actor's maid at his residence.

Saif intervened, leading to a violent altercation in which the actor sustained multiple stab wounds.

In the aftermath of the incident, Kareena Kapoor took to Instagram to appeal for privacy. She wrote: "It has been an incredibly challenging day for our family, and we are still trying to process the events that have unfolded. As we navigate this difficult time, I respectfully and humbly request that the media and paparazzi refrain from the relentless speculation and coverage."
