Ramya Aka Divya Spandana Calls For Justice In Karnataka's High-Profile Cases

Kannada actress Ramya, also known as Divya Spandana, has taken to social media to express her outrage over several heinous crimes that occur in Karnataka, particularly those involving powerful and wealthy individuals. She stressed the importance of swift and thorough investigations into these cases, followed by strict punishment for the perpetrators.

In a recent tweet, Ramya highlighted the disturbing trend of wealthy and influential individuals committing crimes against poor women and children in the state. She lamented that while the police have brought these crimes to light, justice is only served when investigations are completed promptly and a logical conclusion is reached. However, she questioned what message is being sent to the public if justice is not served.

''The ones breaking the law who have been in the news are the rich and powerful, and the ones at the receiving end of their violent actions are the poor, women & children. The common people of Karnataka. Hats off to the police and media for bringing these crimes out. Justice will truly be done when trial is expedited and the cases are taken to their logical conclusion. Ramya also weighed in on the Darshan case, criticising Prajwal Revanna for his alleged atrocities.

It must be noted that former Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa is facing charges in a POCSO case, while JDS leader Suraj Revanna is accused of sexually assaulting a youth.
