R Madhavan recently addressed the misconceptions surrounding his social media interactions, highlighting how innocent conversations can be misinterpreted. Speaking at the launch of Parent Geenee Inc, a parental control app in Chennai, he shared his personal experience with online scrutiny.

Madhavan's Upcoming Projects
On the work front, Madhavan was last seen in Hisaab Barabar, a film about bank scams. He has a packed schedule with upcoming Tamil films Adhirshtasaali and Test, as well as Hindi projects like Amriki Pandit, De De Pyaar De 2, Kesari Chapter 2, and Dhurandhar.

Madhavan on Social Media Challenges
As an investor and strategic partner of the app, Madhavan spoke about the difficulties of being a public figure online. A video of his speech has since gone viral on Reddit.

He described a situation where a young fan messaged him, praising his work and expressing admiration, ending her message with hearts and kiss emojis. Out of gratitude, he responded with a polite "Thank you, that's very kind. God bless you." However, the fan later shared a screenshot of his reply on Instagram, where only the emojis and his response were visible.

"What people see is just the hearts, kisses, and my reply, making it look like I'm engaging in something else entirely," Madhavan explained. "But my response was to her message, not the emojis. It's frustrating because things get taken out of context, and suddenly, rumors spread."

He also expressed concern for younger people facing similar issues, saying, "If I, with years of experience, have to be so careful, imagine how difficult it must be for someone new to social media."
