Kantara 2 hit the screens worldwide in multiple languages on Thursday and minted over Rs 60 crore on day 1. The movie has opened to fairly positive reviews and Yash's positive words are expected to give a boost to the film's collection.

The Kannada version has earned around Rs 17-18 crore, Rs 20 crore from the Hindi version, Rs 13 crore from the Telugu version, Rs 5.6 crore crore from the Tamil version and Rs 5.06 crore from the Malayalam versions.

The movie is expected to cross Rs 200 crore at the India box office.

Coming to Yash, his movie KGF series was backed by Hombale Films and made it a pan-India blockbuster. The second part of Prashanth Neel's film remains one of the top-grossing movies in 2025.
