Oscar-Winning Actor Gene Hackman, Wife Betsy Arakawa And Pet Dog Found Dead At Their Santa Fe Home
Two-time Academy Award winner Gene Hackman and his wife, Betsy Arakawa, have been found dead at their home in Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA.
The couple, along with their dog, reportedly passed away. Hackman was 95, while his wife was 63.

Santa Fe County Sheriff Adan Mendoza confirmed their deaths, stating that the case remains under investigation.
"We can confirm that both Gene Hackman and his wife were found dead on Wednesday afternoon at their residence on Sunset Trail.
"This is an active investigation-however, at this time, we do not believe that foul play was involved," Mendoza said, as quoted by the BBC.
The sheriff did not provide further details regarding the cause or timing of their deaths.
"All I can say is that we are currently conducting a preliminary death investigation and awaiting approval for a search warrant," he added.
Born in 1930, Gene Hackman had a prolific acting career, featuring in over 100 roles. He won two Academy Awards-Best Actor for his portrayal of Jimmy "Popeye" Doyle in 'The French Connection', and Best Supporting Actor for his role as Little Bill Daggett in 'Unforgiven'.
