Now, Rakshit Shetty's 'SSDY' Heroines Speak About Rashmika Mandanna's Deepfake Video
Kannada actresses Rukmini Vasanth and Chaithra J Achar have extended their support to Rashmika Mandanna over the deepfake video.
Speaking at a press meet ahead of 'Sapta Saagaradaache Ello - Side B' release, Chaitra said, "It's wrong. Like she mentioned now that we are in the front line it is easy for us to put up a post and say it is wrong. This is not right. People keep questioning us, trolling and commenting back probably we have learnt a way to keep it at bay,"

However, she voiced her worry about the potential impact on a young child or girl who might not have the means to cope with such a situation.
On her turn, Rukimini said, "It is wrong on every possible level. Actors are normally the first victims of such things, but we need to remember that other people are also affected by it. People who may not have the platform like us to draw awareness about it. So the fact that we are able to alert people that it is not a real video. Someone may think that it is a real video."
