No Names Taken: Pakistan Actress Nawal Saeed On Sania Mirza's Ex-Hubby Shoaib Malik Sending Flirty Text

Pakistan actress Nawal Saeed has broken silence over the reports which alleged that former Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Malik had sent her a flirty text.

On social media sites, many have targeted Shoaib Malik, who had recently divorced Indian tennis sensation Sania Mirza and married Pakistan actress Sana Javed, for sending the alleged message.

Now, Saeed has given a clarification without mentioning his name. The actress, in an Instagram story, said, "In Ramazan, not only we exercise steadfastness over food, but also control our eyes, ears, and tongue. People should be mindful of the fact that giving an altogether opposition perception to a statement in a show, merely for a few likes, could violate the privacy and dignity of individuals, especially when names of people are falsely assumed who have nothing to do with any situation."

The actress has claimed that she had not taken any names and dodged the controversial questions. "The recent show, where no name was taken, rather the controversial question was avoided, is a classic example. May Allah bless you all today and every day that follows," she said.

How The Controversy Broke Out?

On a Pakistani chat show 'Life Green Hai,' actress Nawal Saeed claimed that she had received flirtatious direct messages (DMs) from a few Pakistani cricketers.

Speaking with hosts Aijaz Aslam and Nadia Khan, the actress revealed that she received messages even from married or committed cricketers. One of the hosts mentioned Naseem Shah and Shoaib Malik, prompting laughter from the actress as she smartly avoided directly addressing the question.

The actress claimed that she was not impressed with the cricketers sending DMs. "Appreciate ki baat nahi hai. Mujhe sirf ye lagta hai ki cricketers should not be doing that. Actors se zyada log cricketers/sportsman ko idolise karte hai. So if people consider you to be so big... (you should not be doing that)," she stated.

On asking the context of the messages, Nawal said, "I don't want to talk about it anymore." These statements led to the speculations of whether she was implying Shoaib Malik.

Shoaib has been the subject of attack from netizens since he divorced Sania Mirza and married Sana Javed.

Shoaib had first married Ayesha Siddiqui and ended his 8-year marriage after falling in love with Sania.

Sania and Shoaib tied the knot in 2010 and they were blessed with Izaan in 2018. He tied the knot with Sana Javed in January 2024.
