Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar, the wife of late Sandalwood heartthrob Puneeth Rajkumar, has said that "she will accept everything" in life. Her statement comes amid a section of Darshan fans abusing her on social media.

The producer was asked how she handles the negativity for which she said, "There is no choice, life is not easy, everything should be accepted."

Of late, Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar has faced abuse from a faction of online users in response to the disappointing performance of the Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the ongoing IPL season.

Ashwini attended RCB's Unbox event in Bengaluru on March 19, and some blamed her presence for the team's misfortunes.

Adding to the unfortunate situation, she has also been criticized for the lacklustre reception of Yuva Rajkumar's debut film 'Yuva' last week, which failed to make waves at the box office. Furthermore, Ashwini has been targeted for purchasing a new car recently.

Many of these criticisms have come from individuals claiming to be fans of Kannada actor Darshan.

On the work front, Ashwini, who aims to take forward Puneeth's legacy, is involved in film production. Her latest movie '02' which has Ashika Ranganath, Praveen Tej, Raghav Nayak, Prakash Belawadi and Shreedhar.

Meanwhile, Rajya Sabha MP and Kannada actor Jaggesh has extended support to Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar after she came under a section of people on social media sites, claiming to be fans of actor Darshan.

In a post shared on X, the Kannada actor said, Don't Those disgraceful people abusing Puneeth Rajkumar's wife have mothers? Those unable to show respect towards women or motherhood are unworthy of the title 'human beings'.

She is not an orphan as she is being loved by crores of Kannadigas. No man ever became successful in life by demeaning women."
