Nimrat Kaur: 'I Could Do Anything' Amid Aishwarya Rai, Abhishek Bachchan Divorce Rumors

Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan are currently facing rampant rumors regarding their divorce, yet neither party has offered any official clarification. Amidst these swirling speculations, malicious gossip has surfaced, suggesting that Abhishek may have allegedly dated with his Dasvi co-star, Nimrat Kaur.

As Nimrat's name becomes intertwined with the divorce rumors, her recent interview has gained attention. Last week, a statue honoring Nimrat's father, Major Bhupendra Singh-who was posthumously awarded the Shaurya Chakra-was unveiled in his hometown of Sri Ganganagar. Major Singh was tragically kidnapped and killed by terrorists when Nimrat was just 11 years old in January 1994. His extraordinary bravery was recognized with the Shaurya Chakra on March 13, 1994, which coincidentally was Nimrat's 12th birthday.

During the unveiling ceremony, Nimrat Kaur shared heartfelt memories of her father. "Creating a memorial in my father's memory was a dream we all had as a family for a very long time, and something I have personally been working on for the past year with help from civil authorities and the Army," she expressed. "This is where he was born, his ancestral village, so for us as a family, it means everything that our dream is finally coming true."

Reflecting on her father's profound influence, she continued, "My father brought me up like a son. There was no discrimination in his mind; he truly believed I could do anything I set my mind to. Everything I have in terms of values, perseverance, and diligence-those qualities are all thanks to him. He was truly the hero of my life. Every father is a hero to his little girl, but having lost him so early-I was just 11 when he passed away in such violent circumstances-his memories are all I have to hold on to."

Nimrat also said the importance of keeping her father's legacy alive, stating, "I make sure I keep him alive, not only within our family but also in society because his sacrifices for the nation should never fade away." Her poignant words resonate deeply, highlighting the personal struggles and triumphs amid the public speculation surrounding her co-star's marital situation.
