Dhanush-directed Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam (NEEK) is off to a poor start at the box office. The movie has been largely affected by Pradeep Ranganathan's Dragon. Both the movies were released last weekend.

On the first day, NEEK earned Rs 1.15 crore (nett) at the domestic box office. The film raked in Rs 1.8 crore on its second day while earning Rs 1.57 crore on its third day. On its fourth day, the movie has made Rs 46 lakh.

The total net collection made by the movie stands at Rs 4.98 crore.

Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam is a coming-of-age romantic comedy starring Pavish, Mathew Thomas, Anikha Surendran and Priya Prakash Varrier in the cast.

Venkatesh Menon, Rabiya Khatoon, Ramya Ranganathan, Siddhartha Shankar, Anbu Thasan, Sathish and others are in the cast. It has GV Prakash Kumar's music, Leon Britto's cinematography and Prasanna GK's editing.

The film revolves around Prabhu (Pavish Narayan), an aspiring chef who seems to have an unfortunate romance with failure. As he grapples with his love life, his journey takes him through an arranged matchmaking process, a one-week trial relationship with his school friend Preethi (Priya Prakash Varrier), and the emotional baggage of his past love, Nila (Anikha Surendran). What follows is a mix of nostalgia, heartbreak, and self-discovery.

When Will Hit Release On OTT?

The digital rights of the movie have been acquired by a leading OTT platform. However, the price and other details have not been revealed.

The movie is expected to be out on the OTT platform in March third week.

Meanwhile, Dragon has come out with flying colours, minting over Rs 50 crore in three days.
