Popular Tamil TV anchor Dhivyadharshini aka DD Neelakandan's latest pictures from her trip to South Africa has caught the attenton of the netizens.

In her latest post, she has shared two photo with a caption: "Hellooooo from Cape Town, South Africa." While the first one is a solo snap, there is a mystery man in the second picture.

Many people wondered and started speculating whether it is her boyfriend. Well, if you have been following her on social media and a hardcore fan, you might be knowing about the person in the photo.

The Truth

The truth is it is not her boyfriend but her nephew Rishie. He is the son of Dhivyadharshini's sister and former actress Priyadarshini. In the past, she has shared several of his photos on her social media accounts.

In one of the old pictures shared in 2012, DD Neelakandan had called her nephew PAPPU. She captioned the photo: "Wana wish d bundle of joy in my life a vry hapy bday my nephew my PAPPU.. Muahhhh I wil make sure only gud wil cum 2u.."

In another picture shared in October 2024, she had claimed that Rishi will be apple of her eyes. "Pappu You will always be the apple of our eye. Dibachi is sooo proud of you," she wrote. There were multiple pictures shared in the post.

Who Is Dhivyadharshini?

Dhivyadharshini is a familiar face among the Tamil TV viewers. She began her career as a television anchor in 1999 with Vijay TV's Ungal Theerpu. She then became an actress with legendary filmmaker K. Balachander's television serial Rekkai Kattiya Manasu aired on Raj TV.

She was seen in some characters in Selvi and Arase. However, she earned fame as a TV anchor. In her two-decade long career, she has hosted shows like Airtel Super Singer T20, Anbudan DD, Speed Get Set Go!, etc
