Months After Rape Comment, Mansoor Ali Khan Now Reacts To Trisha's New Controversy

Actor Mansoor Ali Khan, who had made rape comment against Trisha Krishnan, has now responded to the actress' latest controversy.

Trisha has hit the headlines after AIADMK functionary AV Raju made derogatory comments against her. Surprisingly, Khan has extended support to Trisha over her latest controversy.

Mansoor Ali Khan Now Reacts To Trisha

He said, "The derogatory comment about actress Trisha is severely condemnable. It hurts my heart to see someone speak badly about a fellow actress like this. Such speeches are dangerous, obnoxious and will affect society. Someone has criticized the sisters of the film industry in the guise of politics. Action should be taken against the person who spoke like this."

A few months ago, Khan had come under criticism for his crass comments on his 'Leo' co-star. He said, "They are not giving me villain roles. They don't let me rape! I had intended to speak about this at Leo (success meet), but I did not as I felt some might turn it into a controversy.

He continued, "I was very eager when I heard I'd be acting with Trisha. I thought, 'There will definitely be a bedroom scene. Just like how I threw Kushboo and Roja on the bed, I can do it with her as well. In my 150 films, haven't I committed so many rapes and atrocities! They are not casting me as a villain. Just like how Hanuman took Chiranjeevi mountain in his hand, they took Trisha to Kashmir and brought her back. They didn't even show her to me!"

However, he apologised to the actress before filing a lawsuit against her along with Chiranjeevi and Khushbu Sundar who had extended support to Trisha.

Meanwhile, AV Raju, in a viral video, had uttered indecent and disrespectful remarks about her when discussing the 2017 Koovathur Resort incident, during which AIADMK MLAs were relocated there following Jayalalithaa's demise.

It was during this time that AIADMK leader Edappadi K Palaniswamy was selected as Chief Minister under the guidance of the then-party leader Sasikala. Immediately afterward, Sasikala was transferred to a Bengaluru prison to serve a four-year sentence stemming from her conviction in the disproportionate assets case, in which Jayalalithaa was the main defendant.
