In a major development for the high-profile paternity dispute, Crizildaa has claimed that DNA test results have confirmed Rangaraj as the father of her son, Ragha Rangaraj.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter) to update her followers on the legal proceedings, Crizildaa shared a post that suggests a major shift in the actor's stance. She wrote:

"For those asking what happened after the DNA test results, here is the update: @MadhampattyRR has accepted Ragha Rangaraj as his son and has said that he will stand by him for life. He will never leave his son Ragha Rangaraj! Let's wait and see."

While Rangaraj is yet to issue a formal statement regarding these specific claims, the update follows a series of rigorous legal steps involving the Madras High Court.

The controversy, which has gripped the Tamil entertainment industry, stems from allegations levelled by Crizildaa that Rangaraj deceived her. The designer had earlier accused the chef of concealing a prior marriage and abandoning her during her pregnancy.

To resolve the dispute over the child's lineage, the Madras High Court intervened, leading to the following timeline:

Mediation: Retired High Court judge PN Prakash was appointed as a mediator to facilitate discussions between the two parties.

The DNA Mandate: Following a request from Crizildaa's legal team-to which Rangaraj's side consented-the court ordered a genetic test.

Forensic Oversight: An advocate commissioner was appointed to coordinate with the forensic laboratory at the Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital.

The Results: During a recent hearing presided over by Justice Senthilkumar Ramamoorthy, the court was informed that the DNA test was complete. The results were submitted in a sealed envelope to the mediator.

The rift between the two began shortly after their marriage last year. What started as a whirlwind romance quickly turned into a public legal feud when Crizildaa announced her pregnancy and simultaneously accused Rangaraj of "cheating and abandoning" her.
