Madhampatty Rangaraj Cheated Me, Want Justice For My Unborn Child: Joy Crizildaa Appeals To CM Stalin

Fashion designer Joy Crizildaa has appealed to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, alleging police inaction against celebrity chef and actor Madhampatty Rangaraj, whom she has accused of impregnating her under the false promise of marriage.

In a post on X, Joy - who lodged her complaint last week - sought justice for herself and her "unborn child." She wrote that it had been 10 days since she submitted her complaint to the Chennai City Police Commissioner, detailing how Rangaraj "cheated and deceived" her into marriage and pregnancy. Now seven months pregnant, she said she personally visited the commissioner's office with her blind mother, yet remains unaware of the complaint's status.

Joy alleged that while she awaits action, Rangaraj is "receiving VIP treatment" and running an "indecent, obscene and motivated" social media campaign against her. Tagging the Chief Minister, she pleaded for intervention, asking whether "any VIP or celebrity can commit such an offence against women and walk free."

Rangaraj, best known for his appearance on Cook with Komali, has not responded to the allegations. Joy, a well-known Kollywood stylist who has worked with stars like Thalapathy Vijay (Jilla), Vishal, and Atharvaa (Darling, Velaikkaran), was previously married to director J.J. Frederick. Rangaraj was married to lawyer Shruti, with whom he has two children.

The controversy follows months of public displays of their relationship, including photos of the couple and a necklace Joy gifted him. She later revealed her pregnancy online before deleting the posts and filing her complaint.

Adding to the speculation are viral images and videos showing the pair wearing wedding rings, as well as a romantic montage Joy posted referring to Rangaraj as her "husband."

Despite the mounting rumours - including unconfirmed reports of his separation from his wife - Rangaraj has remained silent, instead posting updates from Cook with Komali, leaving fans and the public with more questions than answers.
