'Lucifer 2: Empuraan' Teaser Image Of Mohanlal As Khureshi Ab'raam Revealed

Prithviraj Sukumaran, director of the movie Lucifer (2019), has just released a second teaser for the upcoming sequel 'L2: Empuraan'. The teaser image shows off the main lead, Khureshi Ab'raam played by Mohanlal Viswanathan, wearing something more akin to the leader of a criminal organisation.

The teaser was revealed today on Mohanlal Viswanathan's 64th birthday. The image shows him wearing a black jacket, a black t-shirt, black jeans, and black shoes. He is also seen sporting sunglasses as he walks between a crowd of military men who are dressed in similar fashion. This look is very different from the one shown in the first movie, 'Lucifer', where he is seen wearing a collared white shirt and a mundu.

Before this, the only other official news regarding Empuraan that fans had received was a first look teaser image of the film in November 2023, showing off a barren battlefield where a lone man with an assault rifle stands face-to-face with a military helicopter. All this implies that the second movie will be a lot more action-focused than the first one.

Another launch trailer was revealed by Lyca Productions on their YouTube channel, which predominantly featured scenes from the first film 'Lucifer' (2019), recapping some of the events and iconic scenes from the past. The teaser also announced that shooting for the film will commence on 5 October, 2023.

Other news about the film primarily include video leaks of the film's production circulating online. Most of the videos can be found on the Team Prithviraj Fans Online Instagram account, with the latest video being uploaded just a couple hours ago. The video shows Prithviraj directing a large mob of extras from a balcony alongside a small crew.
