Late Puneeth Rajkumar's Wife Ashwini Abused, Targeted Over RCB's Poor Performance In IPL
In a shameful turn of events, Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar has been abused by a section of netizens following the poor performance of the Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the ongoing IPL season.
Ashwini had attended the RCB's Unbox event in Bengaluru on March 19. People are now targeting her as bringing bad luck to the RCB.

If this was not enough, she was also targeted for the not-so-good performance of Yuva Rajkumar's debut movie 'Yuva' last week. The movie has failed to set the box office on fire. Some even have targeted Ashwini for buying a new car recently.
Most of the posts have been posted by users who claim to be fans of Kannada actor Darshan.
It was common to see fights between Darshan and Puneeth Rajkumar before the latter's death. Yet, maintaining animosity even after his death reflects poorly on the fans, displaying a lack of compassion or humanity.
"Kannadigas have so much respect for women. Look at the language they use..👇 @dasadarshan must be happy the way his fans are using foul language to Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar. Worst creatures on Earth," one user said on X.
Another user said, "That comment on Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar was uncalled, it is not civil in any way. People should really take a chill pill on sporting events, it should not be personal."
Meanwhile, the fans of Appu have lodged a complaint with the City Police Commissioner over the derogatory posts on social media sites.
On the other hand, a few celebrities have come forward to criticise those who have targeted Ashwini.
'Bigg Boss Kannada' 4 winner Pratham called out the miscreants and extended his support to the wife of Puneeth Rajkumar. He said who should be blamed for the people who shares such posts without revealing their original identities.
He said that it is a "silent support" against the law and order which has failed to take action against the miscreants. He urged people to show solidarity by sharing Ashwini's photo.
