Director Balaji Venugopal is back with his latest movie Kumaara Sambavam which will hit the screens on Friday, September 12. The film stars Kumaran Thangarajan in the titular role in his debut as lead actor alongside Payal Radhakrishna.

Kumaravel, Bala Saravanan, G. M. Kumar, Vinod Sagar, Livingston, Gowthaman Sundarajan, Arjai, Charles Vinoth, and others are in the cast.

The Tamil movie has Achu Rajamani's music, Madhan's editing and Jagadeesh's cinematography.

Haricharan Pudipeddi: #KumaaraSambavam - 3.25 stars. Tamil cinema gets a clean dark comedy after a long time. What begins as an investigative comedy slowly transitions into an enjoyable dark comedy with the second half scoring really well with all the laughs. After Lucky Man, Balaji Venugopal establishes himself as a filmmaker with a penchant for clean entertainers with deadpan humour.

Studio Flicks: #kumaarasambavam First Half - Neat and Crisp Writing. Good plot. Flashback portions involving fun, romance, and basic conflict establishment is nice.
