Kuberaa Aka Kubera Review:

The movie has piqued a lot of interest with its trailer and promos. With Dhanush and Nagarjuna teaming up for the first time, people have pinned high expectations on Kuberaa. Will the movie live up to the viewers' expectations? Find out from the viewers' words below:

Venky Reviews:#Kuberaa Passable 1st Half!

The film takes time to get going but once it does it is fairly engaging. Dhanush is superb along with Nagarjuna who plays his role well. DSPs music is nice. It does feel lengthy at times so far and the narration is done on the flatter side but it does not bore.
#Kuberaa is a watchable crime drama that has solid moments that work well in both halves, but, at the same time, is too lengthy with an uneven pace and a rushed pre-climax and climax sequence.

First and foremost, Dhanush gives arguably his career-best performance. He is superb and holds this one together.

The film has an intriguing storyline and good moments here and there. Sekhar Kammula, as always, sticks to the story from the start, and his mark is clearly seen. However, the choppy editing, lengthy runtime, and abrupt/hurried pre-climax and climax hamper this one from reaching its full potential. A crisper screenplay would have been more impactful.

Nagarjuna gets another unique role for a star hero, and he does well. Rashmika is apt in her role. DSP's music works well and helps carry the film. Production values are also top-notch.

It may not hit emotionally as hard as Sekhar Kammula's previous works, but it can be given a try for its unique presentation and some well-executed moments!

Rating: 2.75/5

Gulte: #Kuberaa - A Winner

A good first half followed by an emotionally charged second half made the film a good watch. The film started on a slow note but right from Dhanush's entry sequence, the pace of the film did not drop until the climax.

Dhanush delivered one of the his career's best performance. In the role of a beggar, he delivered a performance that will be remembered for a long time. Kudos to Nagarjuna for playing the role of Deepak in the film. It is so refreshing to him in a very realistic role. Rashmika got a very good character and she delivered a superb performance.

Devi Sri Prasad's background score is the soul of the film. He elevated many sequences with his fantastic score.

We know Sekhar Kammula is very good at making social dramas but this time, he also made sure the screenplay is very racy. His direction and writing in emotionally charged sequences, especially in the second half is first rate.

On the flip side, the proceedings during the initial fifteen minutes of the film move at a slow pace and the editing should have been better. Overall, barring a very few flaws, the film is largely engaging and is worth enough to watch in theatres.

LetsCinema: #Kuberaa wins your heart, powered by Dhanush's phenomenal, arguably, career-best performance. Despite minor flaws with length, the film delivers plenty of memorable moments, making it a thoroughly enjoyable watch! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Tony 🚩: Crafting a gripping 3-hour-10-minute narrative without relying on typical commercial formulas like forced comedy, item songs, or over-the-top heroism is a bold move, but director kamula sir masterfully navigates this challenge. Rare gem in tollywood❤️#Kuberaa

Teja Karlapudi: #Kuberaa is a beautiful movie rooted in realism. I enjoyed it a lot and didn't feel bored even though it's a long film. The screenplay moves fast and keeps you hooked the whole time. There are no unnecessary songs, and I think the length makes sense. I've always liked Sekhar Kammula's movies, especially the ones that talk about social issues without being too preachy. This one met my expectations. I felt emotionally connected to it. It has a few small flaws, but the overall vibe was so good that I didn't mind them.

The casting was perfect! There's no one hero in this movie. Every character has its own importance. I haven't seen all of Dhanush's movies, but this is definitely one of his best performances. It was great to see Nagarjuna in a role like this, I respect him for accepting such a role. Rashmika nailed it too. DSP's music and background score added so much to the movie - I loved it!

Overall, this is one of the best movies I've seen in a while. Tollywood definitely needs more films like this.

Thyview: In #Kuberaa , @dhanushkraja doesn't just play a beggar. He becomes one.

This role...mannn...It's raw. It's filthy. It smells of desperation and decay. A huge part of the film unfolds in the underbelly of the city dumpyards, slums, places most people wouldn't even look at, let alone walk into. But #Dhanush walks in. He sits in the filth. He breathes it in. And he makes you watch.

This is not a performance born from vanity. This is a performance born from fire. There's not a shred of ego on that screen. Not one false note. Every glance, every twitch, every broken word feels like it was pulled from a life we chose to ignore.

Let's be honest. No other star would have touched this part. Not because they couldn't. But because they wouldn't. It demands too much. It strips you down. It dares you to be invisible.

And yet, #Dhanush doesn't flinch.

He leans into the humiliation. He takes the weight of poverty and turns it into poetry. There are moments so haunting, so devastating, they don't just stay with you, they haunt you. You don't watch him perform. You endure it. And when it's over, you know you've seen something eternal.

This isn't just one of his finest performances. This is legacy. This is the kind of work that will be studied, revisited, and remembered for decades. With #Kuberaa ,
@dhanushkraja doesn't just act. He immortalizes pain.

Ramesh Bala: #Kuberaa [4.5/5] : Sekhar Kammula and team delivered a blockbuster. The first half of the film is good but the life and soul of the film is the second half. The emotional scenes in the second half worked out big time.

Dhanush delivered a memorable performance. He just lived in the role of a beggar. Nagarjuna's subtle and realistic acting is first-rate. Rashmika got one more memorable role and did an excellent job.

Devi Sri Prasad's background score is superb. Sekhar Kammula's writing, execution and direction worked out so well. Overall, Kuberaa has a blockbuster written all over it.
