He is a smuggler and what happens when he realises the truth about his employer Thomas' drug trafficking forms the crux of the story. it all begins with the death of a young coast guard recruit, Benjamin. Once his girlfriend Divya (Divyabharathi), is abducted, the course of his life changes as he heads to the forbidden waters, which is believed to be cursed since 1982.

Kingston is not your typical action-adventure or horror thriller. While it does have its share of supernatural elements, the core drama and the emotional weight of the story take center stage. The film delves into themes of redemption, justice, and the consequences of one's actions, making it more than just an adrenaline rush.
