KGF 3 Update: Hombale Films Drops Hint At Third Installment Of Yash-Starrer

Rocking Star Yash's KGF: Chapter 2 is celebrating its third anniversary and the makers of the movie have dropped a hint that the third instalment is on the cards.

In a social media post, Hombale Films said, "He came... He saw... He conquered! Celebrating 3 GLORIOUS YEARS of #KGFChapter2 and the Monster's mayhem at the box office ❤️‍🔥" In the video attached with the post, it is indicated that the third part will be appearing before the audience soon.

However, there is no clarity on when the project will take off, especially since director Prashanth Neel and actor Yash are busy with multiple projects.

"Best cinematic experience Chapter 3 bega plan madro .. Ee generation eh nodohaage," a user said. Another user added: "Chapter 3......waiting The world cinema."

Yash is busy with his ambitious Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups and Ramayana. Whereas Neel is busy with Junior NTR's next movie and Prabhas' Salaar.

KGF Franchise

KGF series is a period action film series written and directed by Prashanth Neel. The story, which is set in the 70s and 80s, revolves around gangster Rocky. The first part, released in 2018, revolved around how Rocky (Yash) became a gangster. A Mumbai-based don comes to Karnataka, his home state, to eliminate Garuda, the empire of the illegal mining company Narachi.

In the climax, Rocky kills him and becomes the ruler. The second part, which was released in 2022, was about his challenges as he controls the Narachi and his issues with Prime Minister Ramika Sen eventually leading to his death in the climax.

However, the movie, which had Sanjay Dutt and Srinidhi Shetty in the key roles, ended on a note with a hint that there was a possibility for the third installemt.

As per the reports, the movie might begin late in 2026 or 2027. However, the makers have not opened up on their plans, as of now.
