Kesari Chapter 2 First Review Out: Akshay Kumar's Film Delivers A Patriotic Punch In Gripping Courtroom Drama
Kesari Chapter 2 First Review: The much-awaited Bollywood film Kesari Chapter 2, starring Akshay Kumar, has finally made its way to the screens. The film, directed by Karan Singh Tyagi, tells the gripping story of Sir Chettur Sankaran Nair, the lawyer who played a crucial role in India's battle against colonial oppression following the infamous Jallianwala Bagh massacre. The courtroom drama promises to capture this pivotal moment in history, with Akshay Kumar taking center stage alongside R Madhavan and Ananya Panday.
With a strong dose of anticipation surrounding the film, the first review has already made its rounds. Umair Sandhu, a member of the overseas censor board, has shared his opinion after watching the movie. Sandhu was not impressed and gave the film a 2 out of 5 stars. His review criticised the film as "old wine in a new bottle," mentioning Akshay Kumar's performance as a "mediocre" one, while praising R Madhavan's acting. Sandhu also pointed out that the film seemed tailored for a high-class multiplex audience, citing below-average production values, screenplay, and direction. He even suggested that Dharma Productions, the production house behind the film, seems to be in a decline.

However, not all reactions have been critical. Tollywood star Rana Daggubati, who watched the film at a special screening, was far more positive in his review. He called Kesari 2 a "powerful and important film" that resonated deeply with the Indian spirit. Rana praised the movie as a "historical courtroom drama" that stands tall and left a lasting impact on viewers.
