Kerala, Karnataka To Welcome Vijay's 'GOAT' Before Tamil Nadu: Know Deets About First Shows
The stage is set for the grand release of Vijay's much-anticipated film 'GOAT' (The Greatest of All Time), directed by Venkat Prabhu, which is slated to hit theaters on September 5.
As fans eagerly await the release, there's an exciting update about the film's first show. Surprisingly, the first screening won't take place in Tamil Nadu, but outside the state.

According to reports, 'GOAT' will have special early morning shows at 4 AM in Kerala and Karnataka. Premieres in the US and Malaysia are also expected to happen around the same time.
In Kerala, the film is being distributed by Gokulam Movies, while Romeo Pictures is handling the release in Karnataka. The movie is expected to be released in multiple languages across both states.
However, in Tamil Nadu, the first show is expected to start around 9 a, due to a government ban on early morning screenings. This ban was implemented after clashes between fans of rival actors during early screenings led to unforeseen incidents.
The last Tamil films to receive permission for such early shows were 'Varisu' and 'Thunivu' in early 2023. Unfortunately, Vijay's previous film 'LEO' did not receive permission for special shows.
Produced by AGS Entertainment, GOAT features an ensemble cast including Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, Ajmal Ameer, Mohan, Jayaram, Sneha, Meenakshi Chaudhary, and others.
