Mack's sister, Kathryn Klebenow, expressed their sorrow, noting that Kelley was a vibrant presence who will be deeply missed.

"It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Kelley. Such a radiant, passionate light has moved on to the beyond, a place we all must eventually go," said Kathryn in a statement posted on Mack's Instagram. "Kelley passed peacefully on Saturday evening, with her devoted mother Kristen and dedicated aunt Karen by her side. She has already made her presence known to many of her loved ones in the form of butterflies. She will be deeply missed in ways words cannot capture," she added.

Kelley's Battle with Cancer

In January, Kelley Mack disclosed her diagnosis of diffuse midline glioma, an uncommon and aggressive type of astrocytoma cancer. This condition affects glial cells that support nerve function and can develop in the brain or spinal cord. The Cleveland Clinic explains that these tumours arise when glial cells grow uncontrollably.

The family plans to hold a "recognition and remembrance of Kelley's life" event in Glendale, Ohio, on August 16. A celebration of her life is also scheduled to take place later in Los Angeles. These gatherings aim to honour Kelley's memory and celebrate her impact on those around her.
