Kapil Sharma has officially announced the sequel to his 2015 hit, Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon, teasing fans with a first-look poster that has sparked curiosity. The actor-comedian, who was last seen in Crew alongside Kareena Kapoor Khan and Tabu, took to social media on March 31 to reveal the much-anticipated update.

First Look: A Confused Groom and a Hidden Bride

Marking the festive occasion of Eid, Kapil surprised his fans with the first glimpse of Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2. In the poster shared on Instagram, he appears as a perplexed groom, dressed in a pristine white sherwani, peering out from behind his floral sehra (wedding headgear) with an expression of bewilderment. Adding to the intrigue, a bride clad in a blue lehenga is partially hidden under a veil, greeting audiences with an adaab. The mystery surrounding the actress's identity has led to widespread speculation among fans, eager to uncover who will play the female lead.

New Director, Familiar Faces, and a Fresh Twist

While the original film was directed by the renowned duo Abbas-Mustan, the sequel sees writer Anukal Goswami stepping into the director's chair. Having co-written the first installment and collaborated with Kapil on The Kapil Sharma Show, Goswami brings a fresh yet familiar touch to the project. Meanwhile, Abbas-Mustan continue their association with the franchise as producers, alongside Ratan Jain and Ganesh Jain.

Earlier in January, Kapil shared behind-the-scenes moments from the shoot, including photos from the pooja ceremony of the film. The sequel also introduces Fukrey actor Manjot Singh as a new cast member, while fans noticed an interesting connection-his Fukrey co-star Varun Sharma was part of the first film.
