'Kanguva' Trailer: This Magnum Opus Starring Suriya, Bobby Deol Has Blockbuster Written All Over It
Suriya's upcoming action film 'Kanguva' is a mighty magnum opus offering from Kollywood this year, with the potential to mark the superstar's contribution to the pan-Indian cinema movement.
Directed by Siva and produced by Studio Green's Gnanavel Raja, 'Kanguva' has captured the audience's imagination with each new update.

The excitement around the film reached new heights with the release of its trailer, which also marks the Tamil debut of Disha Patani and Bobby Deol.
The film's initial look and glimpses of its period segments, featuring Suriya as a warrior from a bygone era, have already grabbed eyeballs.
The trailer, paired with the "blockbuster" 'Fire Song' composed by National Award-winning musician Devi Sri Prasad, has further fueled the anticipation leading up to the film's release on October 10.
'Kanguva', which translates to "fire" in Tamil, lives up to its name, offering a "wild tale" that spans two timelines.
Interestingly, the filmmakers have chosen to keep the contemporary segments, featuring a "suave and stylish" Suriya, under wraps, instead focusing on the intense portrayal of the warrior from the past.
The trailer's captions, such as "Primal Courage," "Raw Rage," and "Bring out your tribal instincts," effectively set the tone for a story that is both "primal" and "raw."
It showcases a conflict between Suriya and Bobby Deol, each leading warring tribes, and hints at the chaos left in the wake of their battles.
The evocative score by Devi Sri Prasad amplifies the adventurous and nature-filled scenes in the trailer, which features sea piracy, flying eagles, galloping horses, incessant rains, Mayan-like structures, and majestic elephants.
The trailer also offers a glimpse of what might be Karthi's surprise role in the film.
With a reported budget of over Rs 350 crore, 'Kanguva' is positioned as a grand spectacle, aiming for success not just nationally but globally.
Scheduled for a Dussehra release, the film is expected to be presented in 3D and IMAX formats across nearly two dozen languages.
In addition to Suriya, Bobby Deol, and Disha Patani, the film's cast includes Jagapathi Babu, Natty Natarajan, KS Ravikumar, and Kovai Sarala in key roles.
If everything goes as planned, 'Kanguva' might just be the next big thing from Tamil cinema.
