Kanguva Advance Booking: Bengaluru Sells More Tickets Than Chennai For Suriya-Starrer

The advance booking of tickets have started with a bang for Suriya's upcoming movie Kanguva with over 50000 tickets being sold.

The movie has sold 51978 tickets and the gross estimation collection from the advance booking is at Rs 92.67 lakh for the Tamil version. If the blocked seats are taken into consideration, the gross collection from the pre-sales is around Rs 2.31 crore, as per Sacnik.

The movie has earned Rs 20.23 lakh (Rs 46.35 lakh from blocked seats) from Andhra Pradesh, Rs 13.96 lakh (Rs 71.86 lakh from blocked seats) from Karnataka, and Rs 39.08 lakh (Rs 69.58 lakh from blocked seats) from Tamil Nadu.

It is reported that it has collected Rs 9.63 lakh (Rs 47.77 lakh from blocked seat) in Bengaluru, Rs 5.28 lakh (Rs 8.15 lakh) from Chennai, Rs 6.52 lakh (Rs 7.97 lakh from blocked seats) in Coimbatore, and Rs 2.04 lakh (Rs 2.72 lakh from blocked seat) from Vizag.

As per the trade trackers, the makers are targeting over 10000 screens worldwide. At a recent press conference, producer G Dhananjeyan of Studio Green said, "We're more than excited. In Tamil Nadu, more than 700 screens have already been confirmed. In South alone, more than 2,500 screens and in North India, we've locked in nearly 3,000 to 3,500 screens. Everything put together, we're very proud to say, Kanguva will be released on more than 10,000 screens on November 14."

The movie will be released in multiple languages in 2D and 3D formats.

Suriya will be seen in the dual roles of Kanguva and Francis Theodore. Bobby Deol, Disha Patani, Natarajan Subramaniam, Jagapathi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Kovai Sarala and Anandraj are part of the cast.
