'Kalki 2898 AD' Celebrity Review: From Rajamouli To Yash, Here's What They're Saying

Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan's much-hyped movie 'Kalki 2898 AD' has opened to fantastic reviews from critics and audience. The movie has done exceptionally well.

The icing on the cake is that the many celebrities including SS Rajamoulu and Ram Gopal Varma have hailed the movie.

The film has ensemble cast comprising Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan and Disha Patani among others.

Story:
In the distant, dystopian future of 2898 AD, Kashi stands as humanity's last bastion on Earth. Supreme Yaskin, portrayed by Kamal Haasan, rules with an iron fist from the fortified enclave known as Complex, driven by an audacious vision to reshape the world. In pursuit of his ambition, Yaskin establishes a cutting-edge fertility lab and identifies Sumathi, played by Deepika Padukone, as the pivotal figure in his bold experiment. Her unborn child, known as Kalki or SUM-80, becomes central to Yaskin's sweeping plans.

Meanwhile, Bhairava, portrayed by Prabhas, is a resolute bounty hunter yearning to infiltrate Complex for a shot at a brighter future. His path converges unexpectedly with Ashwatthama, played by Amitabh Bachchan, a mysterious figure on a mission to rescue Sumathi and her unborn child from Yaskin's clutches. A gripping conflict unfolds as Bhairava, motivated by the promise of a bounty on Sumathi, clashes with Ashwatthama's altruistic crusade.
